Blogging for Personal Branding In 7 Steps

Using a blog for personal branding is a task that goes far beyond the creation of valuable content. Content is only the pillar of a broader strategy that requires the coordination of different elements. Discover them here.

Much has been said about blogs, but we should differentiate a blog from a blog created for personal branding. In the second case, publishing valuable content is only one of the steps that must be taken. We must not forget that the main goal is personal branding. The blog is only a tool.

On October 9th, 2013, I conducted a workshop on blogging for personal branding, organized by the College of Sociologists and Political Scientists of Catalonia (Colpis).

Generally, I prefer not to use slides for my presentations. In my workshop at Colpis I used mainly a whiteboard and I showed some examples from the Internet. So the question was: How could I summarize a two-hour presentation in a post for my blog? The answer is the following infographic. I hope you find it useful.
